Richard Linklater and watchin lots a movies

I just watched Richard Linklater's SLACKER
I liked it for the most part. I think its a kind sit around with your friends and talk through it kind of movie. Laugh at these parts kind of movie Lets talk about what they're talking about kind of movie.
I've seen waking life, which is a really good great movie in itself and for what it is. I've noticed though in all of Linklater's movies he seems to have this formula down. And wanting to be a film student, an apprentice I'm going to put my mind to it and watch me some movies. And talk about these movies. And go full blast on what these movies are talking, saying to me. going down. going down for the enjoyment. going down for the critique. going down to learn. going down to feel good. going down to imaginify. going down to come back up again. going down for the whole experience. but going down nonetheless. So here's what I gather from Linklater. What his thought process/ production/film making schema is...

Richard Linklater

based around conversations, and odd characters, compelling characters
the outsiders' point of view, lifestyle is being touched upon
the camradery inside of that

the scenario- the questioner, or the non-suspecting person who just happens to be the ear, there is always someone who doesn't know. the newbie, the person who has to be told

Art infused, Semi-grunge culture, frivolous living, Poor bohemian lifestyle
college kids, eccentrics, dwellers, passerbys, weird scenarios, careless conversations, rants, thoughtful persuaders, homeless, naturalists

Stripped Down. Things happen naturally, Everyday living, Everyday talk. Anthropological look on grunge American youth Culture
" Hey how's it going?"
"I just got back from Dallas"
"Dallas, what were you doing in the hospital?"
Just think

"I'll probably go back next week and dance on his grave"
